This is a simple application to make it easier to explore Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia, we all love. This is made possible with the DBpedia, a project based on WikiPedia data, which maintains a structured version of the information extracted from WikiPedia making it easy to access the data programmatically.
This is designed as an easy research tool.
To start a new query, just start typing in the query box, select from the dropdown suggestions or click submit.
Results are presented in 3 lists -
Similar - results categorically similar to the query
Related - results related to query(powered by Wikipedia API)
More - More related topics(using Wikiyarn's own algorithm)
There are two tables as well.
The left table contain extracted information related to the query and the right-side table contains topics related to the query.
Click on any topic name to read quick summary of the topic and then focus to start a new query with it.
click on any category name to quickly filter the results of that category.
